Justice Poster : 2025 May

This is a poster inspired by the eleventh card justice, in the tarot collection. The justice tarot card relates to karmic justice, legal matters and cause and effect. In a general context justice is showing you that all actions have consequences. I wanted to capture the intricacy of this piece in contrast with the white paper, so I resorted to using only black. This is my most recent work and I'm super proud of it. It took me a week to complete.

Pistachio Tulip Bouquet : 2025 Feb

This is a birthday card I made for my sister earlier this year. It is not a regular card, I made it out of scrap items. For the base card, I used an old cardboard which I covered with green scrap envelope paper. Then I made tulip buds using pistachio shells. Then I took a few toothpicks and wrapped them with green glitter tape. Each flower was made of three shells, and I stuck them on toothpicks for the stem. After making the flowers, I also made a few leaves out of the green tape. Then I got all the flowers together in a bunch and wrapped them with tape and cover it with brown package paper for the bouquet. Finally I stuck the bouquet on the card I made earlier. Then I decorated the final product with gold stars and birthday wishes.

Discover Design - CST Railway Terminus : 2024 Aug

I had the privilege to participate against the theme "Sketchitecture" in the National level contest of Discover Design held at Christ University, Bengaluru, hosted by The Design Venue.

This is a painting I made of the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminal located in Mumbai, India. It was any entry for the architecture drawing competition, one amongh the many other competitions held by Discover Design. The reason, I selected this building in particular; is because of its intricate architectural detail and splendor. I also wanted to paint a building of Indian origin to embrace my country's culture and capture the essence of this architectural marvel. I went for a "pop-art" drawing style. The building in general reallu fascinated me due to the dramatic carvings. This drawing took me three days. I had a few sleepless nights working on it but it was all worth the effort in the end; because, I won third place for this painting.

TOI Save Water Campaign: 2022 Sep

I made this artwork for publishing in the Times of India Kids Edition newsletter to spread awareness about the importance of water conservation. My painting conveys how all the fishes are dying because their homes (the lakes and rivers) dried up eliminating their only habitat of life. The fish is personified to tell the viewers that it has no say amidst the water crisis, and wants us to consider them as living creatures too. This painting is an original idea, no references were used in the process.write up to be updated...

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year: 2021 Dec

I made this cute picture of two little birds all ready for the chilly weather. I adorned them with a beanie and a woolen scarf and made them look warm and cozy. I made this to wish everyone a merry christmas and a happy new year.

Rapunzel Sketch : 2021 Aug

This is a pencil sketch of the popular Disney Princess, Rapunzel. She has been my favourite princess ever since childhood. I live her for her bubbly personality and her beautiful, golden hair. I felt the need to draw her so I can re-live my childhood. In this piece I portray her in pencil, and I use different tonal values throughout the drawing. I shaded in shadows for the darker spots and to contrast with the prominent features and make them stand out. This drawing was made in an A3 size sheet so it's quite large and it took me a lot of time. 4 hours to be exact. Yet, I had so much fun drawing it.

My Fantasy Character - Puppy : 2021 Jul

I am fond of pets especially puppies. Remember the disney fairy movies at some point of time. The fusion of both these thoughts resulted in my favorite puppy treated by the fairies with utmost care, love and motherliness.
